When I first became a JGN member, I followed the site everyday. I found it so enjoyable and informative to hear from so many JG fans concerning Jeff and Nascar in general. I have so much admiration for Jeff as a professional and person. There seemed to be alot of fans with the same sentiments participating on the site. However, I have to say that over the past 6 months I've lost interest. I confess that part of this can be contributed to my failure to get to know others and taking part in chat sessions. But the biggest reason is that there doesn't appear to be as many members; nor do the majority of the threads focus on Jeff and the Sprint Cup. These topics have been replaced with much third person negativity. And that disappoints me. So much so that I question if it's worth renewing my membership.

Before anyone gets the wrong impression. This isn't intended to be a sermon or an attack on any individual or the membership in general. I'm just expressing my disappointment. I acknowledge that my membership and participation certainly doesn't make or break the JGN. I retired from a profession rabid with politics, jealousies and petty bickering. What I'm looking for is some fun, insightful, supportive dialog regarding one of the greatest (and sure to be HOF) drivers and humanitarians of all time.

This site will keep losing fans because Carol has made it her job to be the gatekeeper, she has abused me for almost a year now, I have had enough. Now go and find someone else to make miserable. You are the reason so many don't bother even posting anymore. Nit picky, that's you! Bye

You, Lady, are a big fat LIAR! You came to this site and began abusing my friend Anne and now you lie about me? Please stop. Go away. Stop lying about me. You are a vicious evil woman.

I am saddened that your experience has been negative. Please join us in the race chat on Sunday while we cheer Jeff on to another Martinsville win!

I'm sorry you are so disappointed, but I understand your feelings. I hope you stay and join us in practice and qualifying threads. Race day we usually have many people in the chat room. I think with twitter and fb less people are posting here, too.

It used to be fun here until a certain person joined and started slinging insults at some of us. I wish the moderator would fix this problem, but until that happens, if ever, the unpleasant situation will never end. JGN will lose loyal members.

It's always disappointing to read comments such as these. The Jeff Gordon Network is a fan club for Jeff Gordon and is meant for fans to show their support, as well as bring those fans together who share this common interest.

While being a fan of Jeff Gordon is the common interest among the thousands of JGN members, that does not mean that personal interests, views, opinions and dispositions are also common among these same members.

The beautiful thing about our existence is that we all have the right to our individual interests, views, opinions and dispositions, as well as the right to express them. However, that does not mean that others have to agree with them or there is a need to attempt to force others to agree with them.

The actions of others hopefully do not dissuade anyone from the very reason that brought you here - being a fan and supporter of Jeff Gordon.

Sharing your thoughts and views are welcome on these message boards. Profanity, vulgarity, racism, personal attacks, bullying and demeaning commentary are not welcome on these message boards.

I have not posted here for over a year, and more than likely you will see another post from me again until my membership is about to run out. I still stop by to read some of the post but skip most of them. I do not believe I have even signed in for that same amount of time. Most of the people I use to enjoy talking with are no longer here, I believe I only know four members, Carol, Deb, B and Jessie. We have use to have long enjoyable talks, yes we did not always agree on every thing but we always remained friends.

Yes this is my own fault that I don't know some of the new members, since I do not come on any more. However, there are some here that I just do not wish to talk to or get to know. They seem to have fun making trouble etc. I don't enjoy reading things against members, Jeff or any other team. And just because we like more than one driver does not make a any less of a Jeff fan than any one else

Also I chose not to spend the extra money this year to have another man's t-shirt (which I would never ware) so I did not receive a pack, but I keep getting emails asking me to join the network. Which I have been a member of since it started, plus was a member of the fan club before they drop that all together.

Sorry that I felt like posting and sounding off here, but you once again have this site to yourself.

Miss you greatly, dear friend. I wish you would come back and join B, Debbie, Jessie, Donna and me on these boards again. We can't get the old days back, but we can start some new ones and make some new memories and we can introduce you to some great new members.

Wow, I've not been able to be on here as much this year as I was in the past either but have stopped in occasionally to read "some" of the posts and did see that some new people had joined and it seemed like all they wanted to do was complain, find fault, etc. I have been a member since the site/network started and will continue to be a member because I've always gotten kind words when I needed them, think of this as an extended "family" and will always, always be a Jeff Gordon fan no matter what!
