I honestly cannot believe that last Thursday, December 20, I celebrated my 18th birthday. For a few years I said to myself, 'I cannot wait to turn 18 and be an adult,' but now, I look in the mirror and think, 'Where did the time go?' It felt like yesterday I was starting Kindergarten and thinking cartoons were real. I remember Jeff winning his fourth championship and thinking he was the God of NASCAR. I remember Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s tragic crash in 2001. I remember the Hendrick plane crashing in Martisville, Virginia. I remember Jeff winning his third Daytona 500 and missing the chase in 2005. I remember meeting Jeff in 2006 in Las Vegas and feeling that I met a high goal. I remember crying when Jeff snapped his 66 race winless streak at Phoenix in 2011. I know that February 2013 will mark my 16th year as a Jeff fan and I am proud of that. I am even getting a Jeff tattoo in a few weeks. I remember my first day of High School and how intimidating it was. Now, I am leaving High School in May. And on that day I will say to the world, "Give me your best shot World, I am ready." Being 18 is stepping into a whole new world and boy, I am ready for it.

Actually yes, my plans are to attend school on broadcasting and to become an announcer for NASCAR like Benny Parsons or Barney Hall

I think I can do that. I've been practicing commenting races for years. In fact, I was interviewed on Sirius Satellite Radio on Las Vegas lat year, and someone asked if I worked for Sirius. I felt proud of that :)
