New site, Robert is right, ramblings has become a place for quarrels. Not here, if that stuff starts on here the site will close. I have depended on prayers, friends, and chatter, not wanting the negitivity. I hope you all will agree, lets start fresh yet again....I value the friendships on here, the cheering for Jeff Gordon, (remember him). Hope you do too! One request, please do not drag what has heated up on ramblings onto this site,

Today is Friday, or should I say TGIF. Does'nt mean much when one day is like another around here. Husband has to feed the cattle for 2 hours each morning, the cattle will not wait until Monday  except for watching something happening for grandkids like basketball games, or just watching grandkids, nothing too much happens. I am hoping this week I will get a good report from my doctor, this incision thing has just about wore me out and I am not the one doing the stuffing. :D Want to drive the car but with the steering wheel and seatbelt I am afraid  when I ride I use a couch pillow to pad the seatbelt. Husband took me to Costco again for my walkies, it cost us a few bucks, always does, we even bought scissors, but we didnt buy the toliets, yep they sell toliets. Wow! The fat cat just took off running up and down the hallway! He's old, maybe he forgot where his litterbox is! have a great day all, prayers going out for Sheila's dad, and Carol's son, and an extra prayer for anyone who is in need today.. Patty

I need to say this once and for all! I could care less about Dorothy, I am not stalking her, she is a very negitive person, and there is no place in my life for all that negitivity. I have never hurt or abused her in any way, she is a liar if she says I have, she called me before her move last year and gave me her phone number and her email. She pretends she never did but she did! Maybe she was stalking me! I have been concerned about all the negitivity she spews, about her little Greta and her daughter, you know the one she moved here to take care of, all she has done since her move is gripe and complain about loved ones and yes, Iowa. I made the mistake of trying to reach out to her, believe me never again! Hope she gets the help she needs!

I know now that those people that were pretending to be friendly to me were just biding their time. Just waiting to pounce, how else would you see it. No matter what I will never trust those people again, even their prayers for my recovery were fake. Makes me very sad to realize I was played!

I have several family members and friends waiting to come aboard the site. They are very die hard Jeff Gordon fans and are more than willing to pay the 40 dollars just to have their say on the site.

One of the craziest things said by Carol and Matt on ramblings was when they went after Jeannie and Robert for stepping in trying to defend me, what the heck were they doing? Dorothy posted a very offense poem about Iowa, I made a remark about how we have been blessed to be enjoying nice weather, then I tried to reach out to Dorothy, so then Carol jumped in with both feet, making sure she insulted me, then Matt jumped on the bandwagon with his insults, but not just at me but a 15 year old genius from Nova Scotia named Robert. So who is fanning the flames, hmmmmmm. I for one am very happy that Jeannie finally posted what she has been observing on the site, the fact that those 3 such peaceful people have made it their purpose in life to use me as a scapegoat. Then proclaiming their innocence! How truely ridiculous they are. Jeannie put it very nicely, thought we were all past kindergarten, we should be, don't you think?

Guess I am done ranting, but I don't feel better for it, instead I just feel sad. Their lives must be so empty that their only means of enjoyment is making my life hell! They just don't know me, I am a very strong person, my family and friends have my back. Patty

Back to just sharing. Today our grandson plays his first basketball game of the season. Of course we are going. It's an hour of pure entertainment! 9 year olds running back and forth, some more aggressive than the other, all wanting the ball! Now yesterday, Larry and Mike went to the Tama Sale Barn to buy cattle, I was toldthey would drop me off at the Indian Casino there. Well they ended up buying cattle and taking them home but forgot me. I sat at the casino from noon until 6 in the evening. Very tired, I love to play slots buttttt, my finger got so worn out! Hahaha! But I am happy to say I played all that time and I still had most of my money left. Not easy believe me! With my comp money we brought home a whole almond joy pie. Can't eat it because of the almonds and the coconut. Feeling better but still have quite a few bad days..... it will get better, I have been told.

OMG!now they are afraid of me, how ridiculous! If anyone should be afraid of anyone I can give you a couple of names. Hahaha! Oh yea, a farm wife, grandma, from Iowa. Looks like I will be busy this spring and summer chasing someone's RV down the road while watching a house in Davenport. Ooooooh I am so scary, beware! When my surgery heals up and the weekly doctor's visits are no more, watch out! Hahaha! How ridiculous! They do say some peoples minds regress as they get older, could this be the childish behavior we are witnessing? Just a thought!

Wonder when someone will post on here, intimidation by certain members could be holding most back..... and then you did see what happened to Jeannie for speaking her mind! I guess I would be afraid too but I have 2 feet planted. I see one more member of the posse has arrived to save the day. Lets see that makes it 5 to 1, I must be a handful to handle they called in the troops, they are circling the wagons. Hahaha! All of this because I answered someone with Iowa's winter weather report, how ridiculous! Making fun of my health issues was really nice too, maybe waiting for surgery not only to cut out a foot of your inners but hoping and praying they didnt find cancer was over played by me, don't know, but I wouldnt wish that on my worst enemy.
Cant wait for Jeffy to start that engine! Fingers crossed, this year will be better than last.

Just read Robert's last post on ramblings, he is so funny, and kind, that's why I will be his friend until the day I am no longer here, am hoping someday we can meet in person..... he has become a grandson to me, not by blood but by heart. He is quite the young man, he is the smartest, nicest and most enjoyable person I know! Patty

I see they are still yapping on the rambling site, one person just can't keep it zipped. Has to bring things up after thay are dropped. Not today! I had a great day with my daughter. Since my health problems started this last September she and I havent got to do any mom and daughter things, it felt great today! She's such a joy! Have I ever mentioned shes gorgeous too. Very proud mamma!

The troops were called in for backup....... hahaha! So sad, really! I am not into big head games!

Watched the littlest grandson today, he's fun. Tiring to keep up with, still mending on my part. We had a good day though. He left smiling and with hugs for me and grandpa.

Tomorrow I see the surgeon again, just praying he calls an end to the gauze thing..... I think my husband has had enough, me too! Being called names for posting about my health issues, I truely wouldn't wish what I have gone through on anyone, even her! I am getting better thank God! Thank you to all of you who have wished me well, the sincere wishes for my good health. Much appreciated!

I am beginning to think the surgeon loves using his snips, yep! Again today! He did say he will see me in 2 weeks not next week. Not a pleasant experience at all! A few tears were shed! Husband stays so postive.

Other than that I was walking on sunshine, very cold here right now but sunny! No snow on ground! That's good! Right! Can't wait for racing to begin, maybe things will lighten up for me on here :) if you know what I mean? Have a great evening!

Just saw saw a couple of posts on ramblings that made me go OMG! People inviting people to the Texas race, and saying they are always happy to meet JG fans, now not trying to dredge things up but, I was threatened with security last year for even mentioning trying to meet up with this person. I was making the race with friends and trying to meet up with a certain person when actual threats came out. Has me scratching my head........ say what! You can't wait to meet Jeff Gordon fans? Who are you kidding!

It's 3 degrees outside! Cold enough, yes, but we are sharing this brrrr with a few states....or so it seems!
Have no real plans today,, I may have to call a friend, but really hate going out when its this cold... but if I stay home I will have to clean house and do washing....ugh! Did get a compliment from our older neighbors, they said they can't believe I keep my house so clean... if they only knew,! Hehehe! I am a good at hiding stuff! But too even when I was recovering from my surgery I still did what I could. I think it's training I had from my mother in law, she would literally eye scan the house whenever she dropped in. She kept me on my toes!

Is it my imagination? Or is January the longest month ever! It's like the world takes a breath and slows down, why if that's true couldn't we take that much needed breath in June? Oh no summer speeds past! Sorry just had to unleash my January blues onto everyone! Bah hum bug!

:D if anyone has visited a certain site lately you know it's becoming so sweet that you get cavities just by reading it. Listing friends, hmmmmmm, it's finally all hers! At last! Called in the troops a couple answered the call. Please dear God bring our racing back! Wonder where the Gordon family is this week? Monster trucks with little Leo, how cute is that! Wonder if Ingrid has Ella with her somewhere overseas...
Hope Dan keeps up with the pictures, love seeing the family.
Did you see President Obama singing his favorite song to Michelle during their dance, I think he could do a better job singing it than Jennifer. Aren't they a wonderful couple and family, a real expression of family values.

He's saying he doesn't want me home alone, but I thing he's guilty cause of the money he is gonna spend..... but he makes money I just seem to spend money, oh well.
I actually used my dreadmill yesterday! Offt! I am tired, went a whole 1/4 mile!
Sorry about the Danica thing but L was shocked! Has she been getting extra driving lessons? :D

Wasn't at the casino too long......only a couple of hours, I didnt do too badly, only lost 20.00. :D I have a new system for playing to keep your money. It has worked the last 3 times I have gone. :)

I am wondering what has happened to our friend Robert, I hope he hasn't quit posting because of things that were and are happening on the other site. I need to remind him again that we too paid our membership, so we have a right to the site too. I just wish others would post on here but can't force no one, we all have choices..... just very unsettling to see what has transpired..... hope everyone sees it too.

Sunshine, Lolipops, and Rainbows...... I choose to make my day happy!

I am bruised and sore after my last weeks visit to the surgeon. It has been almost 7 weeks since the surgery would have thought I would be passed this by now. Oh well life goes on. He did cut again those two places in my incision, very very painful.... oh well this too will pass!
It's gonna get slippery outside here in Iowa today! Sleet! OMG! In the words of Paul Simon, slip sliding away! Love to sing it but not do it. scratching like a chicken on ice, ! Cats are holding their own outside, seems their claws give them traction! They just have to learn to walk don't run!
It doesn't matter on a farm, everyday is the same, the cattle have to be fed..We grind for our feeder cattle, a mix of hay, corn stalks, glouton and or some sort of beer residue. (Happy cattle). So husband and son are outside doing just that, no matter if snow is 6 foot deep, (it's not) or ice an inch thick, they still have to perform. It's called livestock farming! You do notice my name isn't in that at all, I am the farm wife, house cleaned, and man fed, that's my job! It's hard to keep meals fresh and new when you do 3 meals a day times 7. But ya know I love it! I worked outside the home for many years but the husband really missed me (or the meals) and requested I quit. I do miss being around people, I am a people person but our family fills in nicely!

How are you doing?
Patty
